The 458 Italia is a neat, simple but powerful Ferrari Model. The sleek design enables this car to be one of the strongest of its class. Receiving over 30 international awards including “Best Performance Engine” and “Best Engine Above 4 Litres” at the International Engine of the Year Awards, it makes this car extremely desirable for critics and the general public.
Being first officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show the 458 Italia was instantly admired by all sports car enthusiasts.
The first official announcement made by Ferrari about the car was described as the successor to the F430 but had a completely different design and including different technology.
The production of the car was from 2009 – 2015, where the exceptionally designed car won a multitude of prestigious awards such as “Car of The Year 2009”, “Supercar of the Year”, “Cabrio of the Year 2011” in Top Gear’s magazine.
The car also had some minor marketing inclusions, with “Hot Wheels” producing a 1:18 scale model of the 458 Italia and other variants of the car.
THE BODY
The design of the 458 Italia holds the Ferrari traditional body shape. Designed by Pininfarina with the themes of purity, simplicity, technology, efficiency and lightness all in the compact design of the model.
It is clearly a significant leap from previous models Ferrari have manufactured in the past, with correctly executing the superb driveability in extreme conditions, and persistent positioning of every part with performance and pleasure in mind. the engine
The freshly designed engine for the Ferrari 458 Italia sportscar is engineered with 9000rpm with a compression ratio of 12:5:1 providing maximum power output of 570cv.
The design ofthe engine components were closely considered to match racing technology, specifically Formula 1, to achieve both performance and fuel consumption, as well as following the international emissions restrictions.
